Services - Do you need editing or proofreading?
Editing is a review of a written document to enhance the quality and clarity of written communication. Your Editor will restructure, rewrite or reword your manuscript to better convey meaning whilst also maintaining conciseness. Your Editor will also address broader issues including tone, voice, and logical inconsistencies; to enhance the coherence and effectiveness of the manuscript.
Proofreading is a review of your manuscript to identify and correct errors in formatting, grammar, and spelling. Proofreading is typically performed after editing, to mitigate any small errors or inconsistencies before submission or publication.
Pricing
Our pricing model is based upon the number of words and how soon you would like your manuscript returned to you. Our specialty is in being super thorough, not in being super fast. In our experience, high quality work takes time.
Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST (tax). Please let us know if you would prefer to pay in a different currency. Payment in full is required before any work can begin.
Word count applies to the entirety of the document supplied to us, and is inclusive of headers, footers, figures, tables, and references. If you would like us to ignore any of these, please let us know.
